Korean-Trained Acupuncture in Los Angeles
한국에서 자라거나 훈련받은 환자들에게 익숙한 진단과 치료 방식을 제공합니다. Our practitioners are Korean-American licensed acupuncturists trained in both Korean and Chinese clinical traditions, with a deep grounding in Sasang Constitutional Medicine, Saam acupuncture, and Korean herbal protocols.
About Our Practice
What Korean Acupuncture Means Here
The phrase "Korean acupuncture" covers a few different clinical traditions. The Korean lineage includes Saam acupuncture (a four-needle technique using element-based point selection), Sasang Constitutional Medicine (treating each patient according to one of four body-mind constitutions), and Korean Hand Acupuncture (Koryo Sooji Chim). Most Korean-trained practitioners also draw extensively from Traditional Chinese Medicine, since the two systems share roots and influence each other.
What we do at Nature Acupuncture & Herbs is integrative in the truest sense. Our protocols start from the constitutional and pulse-based diagnosis that Korean training emphasizes, then layer in the broader point repertoire and herbal formularies of Chinese medicine. The result is care that feels familiar to patients who grew up with Korean medicine while also being calibrated to the modern clinical evidence base.
We see patients from Koreatown, Sawtelle, Cerritos, Buena Park, Fullerton, and the broader Korean-American community across Greater LA. Front desk and clinical staff handle Korean-language intake when needed.
